Carson Hammes extended his point leader over older brother Dawson this past Saturday night. Carson now holds a 15-point edge. Both Carson and Dawson have two main event wins this season and have been at the top or near the top of the points all season long. Dryver Dothage is trying to secure the third spot as he leads Billy Wallace by just six points. Saturday night will mark the 12th race this season for the 360 sprint cars. So far, 64 different drivers have earned points this season at Marysville Raceway. It was special to see 60-year-old Peter Paulson win the main event last week. It shows how diverse and competitive racing is at this track.

Raymond Lindeman leads the IMCA Sport Mods by just four points over Mark Garner coming into the final point show of the season. Let’s say after the nights racing is over, and these two tie in points, as of now Garner wins the championship because of his two main event wins while Lindeman currently has one win. Jimmy Ford holds down the third spot. He leads KC Carpenter by 13 points. Shaun Merritt will try to hold off Scott Savel for the fifth spot. Only six points separate those two.

The Nor Car Dwarf cars are set to attend as the third act of what looks to be a great night of racing. A large field of drivers is expected. This will be a great chance for these drivers to use tonight as a test and tune for the upcoming Dwarf Car Nationals the following weekend.
