Another Championship Season Starts This Saturday
Marysville, CA – (3-7-22) …The march towards crowning a 2022 Marysville Raceway track champions begins this Saturday night, March 12th. For the first time in 2022, the points will count, and the action is expected to be fast and furious. The Winged 360 sprints, Hobby Stocks and Crate Sprints are the three individual divisions ready to rock the raceway this Saturday night.
Pit gate for the competitors opens at 3 PM. Front grandstand gate opens at 5 PM. Racing scheduled to start at 6 PM. Adult general admission is $15.00. Seniors and Juniors are $13.00. Kids, ages 6 – 11, are $6.00. Children 5 and under are FREE. As always, parking is FREE for the fans.

A big car count is expected in all three divisions. The Toller Memorial winner Andy Forsberg is committed to come this weekend and try to gather his second win of the season. Defending track champion Billy Wallace is ready to get back into victory lane. The Lovell brothers, Mike Monahan and a cast of others are set to get it on in the dirt this Saturday night.
This Saturday is the first time we will see the Hobby Stocks compete. Last year, this division continued to show major growth. Huge car counts and close racing were a theme last year.
The Crate Sprints returned for the Toller event and almost had 15 cars attend the February race. It was great to see the return of Misty Castleberry behind the wheel of the famed No. 95. Three-time track champion Brett Youngman is set to earn his fourth title. Can another driver emerge and knock Youngman off his throne?
