Excessive Heat and Nearby Fire Cancels IMCA Clash on July 6th

MARYSVILLE, Calif., July 4, 2024…With the nearby Thompson Fire still burning, and the predicted warming temperatures in Marysville expected to exceed over 112 degrees for Saturday July 6th, both Marysville Raceway and the officials with the California IMCA Clash have mutually agreed to cancel the race for safety of their drivers and fans. Marysville Raceway and the California IMCA Clash each explored possibilities for moving the race to a new date, but as of today, this race will not be rescheduled.

Next event at Marysville Raceway will now be a July 27th championship point show featuring the 360 sprint cars, dwarf cars, and crate sprints.

On behalf of the Marysville Raceway, we send our thoughts to those affected by the local fires.
