This Saturday Starts the Drive Towards the Final Four

MARYSVILLE, Calif., March 5, 2024…The 2024 Marysville Raceway championship season has reached the point of just four more chances to earn points. Starting tomorrow, July 27, the 360 sprints and Crate Sprints are set to earn valuable points towards the season long battle. Joining them are the exciting and entertaining Dwarf Cars.

Following this Saturday, the final three dates are as follows: August 3, September 7 and 14.

A healthy car count for both divisions is expected on Saturday. The Crate Sprints are led by Koa Crane and his four wins this season. Matthew Kaiser has been on a hot streak as of late, winning the most recent race, and only trails Crane by 24 points. Jason Ballantine will look to add to his one win this season and sits in the third spot. Derek Droivold is only two points behind Ballantine in fourth. Caleb Ingle rounds out the top five.

The top three in the 360 sprint car ranks are all young talented drivers. Drake Standley holds a slim six-point lead over Carson Hammes. Older bother Dawson Hammes is in the third spot and is well within striking distance to win the points battle. Dryver Dothage sits in the fourth spot. Billy Wallace rounds out the top five.

The Dwarf Cars play a major role in the upcoming schedule at Marysville Raceway. Dwarf Cars will compete this Saturday, return on September 14, and host the Dwarf Car nationals Sept 19 – 21. That is a lot of racing for this great group of racers.

Pit gate is scheduled to open at 3 PM. Front gate set to open at 5 PM. Winged 360 sprint car qualifying begins at 6:30 PM with racing to follow.
