Marysville Raceway Postpones April Events
(Marysville, CA – April 10, 2020)…Marysville Raceway continues to work with the Yuba County Officials to comply with precautionary guidelines for public gatherings while the COVID-19 virus is confronted. As of now, all scheduled events in April are postponed.
On March 19th, the California State Public Health Officer and Director of the California State Department of Public Health, Sonia Y. Angell, ordered all individuals living in California to stay at home. This Order is being issued to protect the public health of Californians. The California Department of Public Health looks to establish consistency across the state in order to ensure that we mitigate the impact of COVID-19. The goal is simple, we want to bend the curve, and disrupt the spread of the virus. To protect public health and slow the rate of transmission of COVID-19, the California Department of Public Health has determined that all non-essential gatherings should be postponed or canceled across the state until further guidance is issued by the California Department of Public Health.
“We continue to listen to the State guidelines and will be on hold until we can safely get back to some normalcy,” said Dennis Gage, Marysville Raceway Manager. “We just hope everyone stays safe and together we can beat this awful virus.”
