Father’s Day Discount at Marysville Raceway This Saturday

Marysville, CA – (6-15-22) …In honor of the number one movie in America, Top Gun; Maverick, this Saturday night’s theme is to “turn and burn” when it comes to this weekend’s event. Just as in the movie, fans will see pilots navigating a course filled with ever present danger, all striving for one common goal, to complete the mission and win the race.

Father’s will be at the forefront of this weekend’s promotion. All dad’s admission is just $11.00 in celebration of Father’s Day.

The on-track racing will be led by the Joe Hunt Magnetos Wingless Sprint Tour, brought to you by C&H Veteran Enterprises. A plethora of stars and cars are set to shine under the bright LED lighting system at Marysville Raceway. The drivers will be slicing and dicing on the track ultimately finding out who is Maverick, Rooster, or Hangman at the checkered flag. Jake Morgan leads Josh Young by only 16-points in the overall championship for wingless series. This Saturday marks race number five on their calendar of events for 2022. An impressive 49 different drivers are listed as earning points in their previous four events.

It’s been a minute since the popular Crate Sprints have been at Marysville Raceway. After four competitive events, the top seven are only separated by a mere nine-points. Talk about taking your breath away. In fact, the top two drivers, Britton Bock and Jason Ballentine, are tied with 180 points. Brett Youngman (179), Mike Hall (178), and Jacob Johnson (175) round out the top five. The chase for the top gun in this division continues this Saturday.

As if this show couldn’t get any better, add in the Hobby Stocks and this show is built to offer the biggest bang for dad’s buck. Howard Law leads the brigade of ferocious and talented Hobby Stock drivers into this Saturday’s Danger Zone. Law is a three-time winner this year. Second-place Kyle Cheney, the most recent winner, sits second in points. Maurice Merrill, Zach Lindgren, and Joe Gillock are all searching like heat seeking missiles for their first win of 2022.

Adult ticket price is $15.00 (16-61), junior/seniors/military discount with card $13.00, kids $6.00 (3-11) and children 5 and under are FREE.
