Dwarf Car Nationals This Weekend
(Marysville, CA 9/18/23)…The sights and sounds of dirt track racing return this Friday and Saturday night with the 28th running of the Dwarf Car Nationals at Marysville Raceway. The nationally known Western States Dwarf Car Association event, hosted by Marysville Raceway, will pack the facility with nearly 100 entrants from all over the Western United States. On Friday night September 22, and Saturday night, September 23, fans will be treated to exciting heat races and main events.
The WSDCA Dwarf Car Nationals will feature three separate divisions led by the Pro’s. The Veteran and Sportsman divisions are also on tap. Each group offers a bunch of top-notch drivers from all over the Western United States. The racing is fast and furious.
“We are looking forward to another exciting Dwarf Car Nationals this weekend,” said promoter Dennis Gage of Marysville Raceway. “This group knows how to race and they do a great job of hosting events for all the competitors who make the long tow to Marysville.”
Pit gate opens at 3:00 pm. Front gate 5 pm. Cars on track 6 pm. Prices for each night are as follows, $15.00 for adults (16-61), $13.00 for seniors (62+)/juniors (12-15) and military with proper identification. $6 for kids ages 6-11. Children 5 and under are FREE. Full-service concessions, beer garden, and novelty booth will be open.

Marysville Raceway is located just off of Simpson Lane next to the Marysville Flea Market in the Yuba River flood plain. The ¼ mile clay oval has operated for more than 60 years at this location. Over time it has had numerous configurations and operators. Improvements over the last decade have made the facility rival any California oval track operation and draws a large contingent of racers and fans.
