Saturday Night Racing Resumes at Marysville Raceway
MARYSVILLE, Calif., April 1, 2024…Big-time auto racing returns this Saturday night, April 6th, with a four-division card that will thoroughly entertain the diehard fans of Marysville Raceway. Crate Sprints, Hobby Stocks, IMCA Northern SportMods, and Vintage Hardtops are all scheduled this Saturday night.
Pit gate is scheduled to open at 3 PM. Front gate set to open at 5 PM. Racing starts at 6:30 PM.

Adult general admission ticket is $17.00. Seniors, Juniors, Military with ID (ages 62+ and 12 to 15) $15.00. Kids (6 – 11) are $8.00. Children five and under are FREE. As always, parking is FREE.

Koa Crane leads the Crate Sprint standings after two rounds of racing. Crane holds a robust six-point edge over Matthew Kaiser. Jason Ballantine holds down the third spot with one win this season. Misty Castleberry is fourth in points, won the Toller Memorial, but looks to bounce back and win a point show this Saturday. Rick Holbrook rounds out the top five.
For the second time this season, Hobby Stock drivers will get to attack the track. Howard Law, fresh off the opening night win, holds a one-point advantage over Jacob Bright. Devin Koranda sits in the third spot. Kevin Thomas and Jason Clayton Sr. round out the top five.
One round of IMCA Northern SportMods has been completed. Raymond Lindeman won the race and leads the points by one over Mark Garner. Mike Merritt, Jimmy Ford, and Mike Ficklin Jr. round out the top five.
It will be nice to get another race in for all three of these championship divisions. With more racing ahead, the championship standings will continue to change and evolve.
The always enthralling and engaging Vintage Hard Tops are scheduled as the fourth group to race this Saturday night.
