Marysville Raceway Resumes This Saturday Night
Marysville, CA (June 5, 2017) – After a three-week break, the Saturday night championship auto racing resumes with a stellar five division night of racing. The winged 360 sprint cars, IMCA Sport Mods, Super Stocks, Economy Winged Sprints and the BCRA Midget Lites will battle during point race #7.

The pit gate will open at 3 PM while the front grandstand gate opens at 5 PM. Starting this Saturday, the pit meeting is being moved from 5:30 PM to 5 PM in hopes of getting the competitors on the track earlier for wheel packing and hot laps.
Adult general admission is $13.00 into the grandstands. Seniors, juniors and Military with ID are just $10.00 each. Kids, six to eleven years old, are $6.00. Children five and under are FREE. A family pass is available and consists of 2 adult tickets, 2 junior tickets or 3 kid’s tickets for a combined price of $40.00.
Marysville’s Jeremy Hawes continues to lead the winged 360 sprint car point standings. Hawes is in search of his first career winged sprint car championship and holds a 20-point lead over Sutter’s Tyler Seavey. Another solid car count is excepted this Saturday night. Reno’s Mike Monahan, Yuba City’s Korey Lovell and Applegate’s Jimmy Steward round out the top five.
Phillip Shelby is dominating the point standings during the IMCA Sport Mod point series. He holds a jaw dropping 39-point edge over Mike Smith. That big of a led is unprecedented this early in a season.
Defending Super Stock champion James Castleberry holds a four-point edge over Mike Walko. Both drivers have visited victory lane this year. Rod Oliver sits in the third spot just seven points back.
Adam Ermolenko has won his share of main events this season and because of this holds a 10-point edge over Cameron Haney Jr. Jaylon Deas is in the third spot and only 14 points behind Ermolenko.
Scott Kinney was the most recent winner during the BCRA Midget Lites main event at Marysville. His son, Hunter, finished a close second. Craig Dillard was a close third. Emilee Lindgren was fourth.
