Marysville Raceway Plays Host to Championship Auto Racing
Chico, CA (March 27, 2018) …. This Saturday night, March 31st, the Marysville Raceway will host a full night of action packed racing along with a special Easter Egg Hunt for the kids. Winged sprint cars, super stocks, dwarf cars and crate sprints are slated to give the fans an entertaining night of racing.
The Marysville Raceway will host their annual Easter Egg Hunt for the kids during one of the night’s intermission. The traditional egg hunt will have different designated areas with similar age groups to allow the youngest kids to still have a fair shot at getting a lot of eggs. It is also reported that the Easter Bunny will be making an appearance. This Saturday night should be a nice chance to take the family to the races and let the youngsters get a chance to collect some cool eggs.
Pit gate will open at 3 PM for the competitors. Grandstand gate opens at 5 PM each night. Racing is scheduled to start at 6:30 PM. Adult admission on Friday night is $13.00, juniors and seniors $11.00, children $6.00 (ages 6-11) and kids 5 and under are free.
A $40 Family pass is available for two adults, two juniors or three kids 11 or under.
The winged sprint cars will be led by defending track champion Jeremy Hawes of Marysville, Oroville’s Heath Hall and Reno, NV driver Mike Monahan.
The Dwarf Car division always brings a high quality and quantity of drivers to the facility.
Super Stocks are back again for 2018. Last year’s champion James Castleberry looks to fend off Mike Walko and Rod Oliver.
The Economy Sprints have morphed into the Crate Sprint Car division. We will all find out Saturday who will be primed for a chance to win it all.
