Auto Racing Goes Xtreme This Saturday
(Marysville, CA 3/22/23)…Dirt track auto racing is an extremely exciting sport that not only entertains but thrills fans of all ages. This Saturday night, the Xtreme Ltd. Late Models are slated to race at Marysville Raceway. This extreme series is a perfect fit for the “action track of the West.” This Saturday will also serve a the kick off race for their traveling series that visits five tracks in total over a 10 race schedule. This group of racers are so good that Dennis Gage invited the Xtreme Ltd. Late Models back to Marysville Raceway on October 21st. Last year, the series had 37 different drivers earn points. Familiar names littered the top three of last years points led by former Marysville track champion Dan Brown Jr. Matt Micheli and Rod Oliver finished second and third.
Joining the Xtreme series are three other divisions. The track is excited to host the traveling Dwarf Car Series. The Dwarf Cars always bring good car counts and exciting on track racing.
Two of our weekly championship divisions are also slated. The IMCA Sport Mods and Hobby Stocks are ready for round two during the 2023 championship battle.

Pit gate opens at 3:00 pm. Front gate 5 pm. Cars on track 5 pm. Prices for all regular season events will be $17.00 for adults, $15.00 for seniors/juniors and military with proper identification. $8 for kids ages 6-11. Children 5 and under are FREE. Parking is FREE. Full-service concessions, beer garden, and novelty booth will be open.

Marysville Raceway is located just off of Simpson Lane next to the Marysville Flea Market in the Yuba River flood plain. The ¼ mile clay oval has operated for more than 60 years at this location. Over time it has had numerous configurations and operators. Improvements over the last decade have made the facility rival any California oval track operation and draws a large contingent of racers and fans.
