Back to Normal Purse for Saturday Night
MARYSVILLE RACEWAY
(March 17, 2021) FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Back to Full Purse This Saturday Night
Marysville Raceway is pleased to announce that this Saturday night’s championship point show number two will return to a normal purse for the competitors. Three divisions are set to compete at the quarter-mile oval raceway led by the Hobby Stocks, winged 360 sprint cars and the IMCA Sport Mods.
Even with the bump up in pay to the competitors, there will be no fans allowed through the front gate. However, as with last week, the cross over gate between the pits and grandstands will be opened to allow pit area people to sit and be socially distant from other patrons.
All persons welcomed into the pit area if you are 8 years of age or older. All pit passes are $45.00. Pit gate opens at 2 PM. Cars on track at 5:00 PM. Season championship points are on the line for all three divisions.
Andy Forsberg won the season opener for the winged 360 sprint cars. Sean Becker finished second. The two Hall of Famers put on a show.
A full field of 30 Hobby Stock competitors showed up for the first point show. The same amount is expected to return this Saturday.
Excited to host the IMCA Sport Mods this Saturday night. Always entertaining and exciting, the IMCA Sport Mods are guaranteed to put on a show.
