Bad Weather Forces Cancellation at Marysville
Marysville, CA (October 14, 2016) – The Gold Fever Modified Madness event, scheduled for this Saturday night, has been cancelled due to a persistent storm that has brought constant rain to the Marysville area. With the high winds and the anticipation of more rain coming, promoter Dennis Gage has decided it is in everyone’s best interest to cancel a day early. “We had a lot of teams coming down from Oregon and up from the central valley, said Gage. “I felt the need to cancel early enough to allow those teams the chance to stay home and not waste a trip to our track especially with the rain that is still predicted to head our way.”
Racing is still scheduled for next Saturday night, October 22. The event is called the Gold Fever Taxi Cab Open and features Limited Late Models, Super Stocks, Street Stocks, Pure Stocks and Hobby Stocks. The season will close on the following Saturday night, October 29th, with the Fall Gold Fever Sprint Spooktackular.
