Father’s Day Discount Saturday Night at Marysville

Marysville, CA (June 15, 2016)…All Dad’s deserve a break every once in a while. This Saturday night, Marysville Raceway is offering a Father’s Day discount of $4.00 to all dad’s in attendance. Mention you are a dad at the front ticket window and the cost of that ticket is just $9.00. Treat dad to a night of grass root racing led by the enjoyable BCRA Midgets, Midget Lites, wingless sprints, Limited Late Models and pure stocks. It is sure to be an action packed night of racing along with creating great memories while spending time with dad.

All dads’ in attendance in main grandstand ticket price is just $9.00. General admission is $13.00 for adults, $10.00 for seniors and juniors and military with I.D. Children ages 6 – 11 are $6.00 while kids five and under are free. Pit gate opens at 3 PM with the front gate opening at 5 PM. Family pass is available for $40.00 and includes two adult tickets and three kids 11 and under. 

This Saturday marks the lone appearance of the year for the BCRA Midgets. It seems that the length of Marysville Raceway is the perfect fit for these smaller but powerful race cars. Joining them is their Lites division. It will be a pleasure to watch the close knit racing that the BCRA always offers. Both classes will offer good car counts and that distinctive higher pitched sound of engines producing max RPM. 

The pure stocks will have an open show style race. No points are on the line.

The Limited Late Models were just here last Saturday night and Olivehurst’s Ryan McDaniel scored a dominating win. 

Woodland’s Peter Paulson has been to victory lane twice this season driving in the wingless spec sprint division. Paulson leads Josh Vieira, Misty Castleberry, Johnny Burns and Timmy Sherman Jr. into what has been a solid group of weekly racers.
