Mother’s Day Special on Saturday Night

Marysville, CA (May 7, 2018) – This Sunday is Mother’s Day so why not celebrate a night early and take her to this Saturday nights race at Marysville Raceway. On May 12th, not only will Saturday night serve as an entertaining family outing but all Mom’s in attendance get a discounted grandstand ticket. All Mom’s will be admitted for just $9. Spend an evening with that one woman who was always there for you.
The pit gate will open at 3 PM while the front grandstand gate opens at 5 PM. Starting this Saturday, the pit meeting is being moved from 5:30 PM to 5 PM in hopes of getting the competitors on the track earlier for wheel packing and hot laps.
Adult general admission is $13.00 into the grandstands. All moms are just $9.00 tonight. Seniors, juniors and Military with ID are just $11.00 each. Kids, six to eleven years old, are $6.00. Children five and under are FREE. A family pass is available and consists of 2 adult tickets, 2 junior tickets or 3 kid’s tickets for a combined price of $40.00.
Marysville’s Jeremy Hawes continues to lead the winged 360 sprint cars point standings. The 2017 track champion just swept the previous weekend of racing and holds a six-point edge over William Fielding. Fielding started the championship season winning his first career sprint car main event. Mike Monahan is two-points back of Fielding. Heath Hall is currently fourth. Chico’s Kenny Allen rounds out the top five.
Eight drivers have attended both Crate Sprint point shows. Jaylon Deas leads Jeff Macedo by one point. Each driver has won a main event this season. Mike Sayre continues to impress and holds down the third spot. Cameron Haney is eleven-points behind Deas. Kelly Hicks rounds out the top five.
Howard Law leads the IMCA Sport Mods into this Saturday nights second point show for this division. Brian Cooper is just one point back. Andrew Peckham sits third. Damian Merritt holds down fourth and Jake Van Tol is fifth. Law won the only point race this year.
The popular Dwarf Cars make another return to Marysville. Another large car count is expected, and this group always puts on a great show. The previous races have seen the Dwarf cars show up with nearly 30 cars.
