Point Championship Racing Continues Saturday Night
Marysville, CA (July 6, 2016)…Five racing divisions will hit the Marysville Raceway this Saturday night July 9th. On Saturday night the track will host point race #10. The winged 360 sprint cars will lead the charge. A staggering 23 drivers showed up last Saturday night for point race #10. The winged sprint car division has continued to excel in 2016.
General adult admission is $13.00 for adults, $10.00 for seniors and juniors and military with I.D. Children ages 6 – 11 are $6.00 while kids five and under are free. Pit gate opens at 3 PM with the front gate opening at 5 PM. Family pass is available for $40.00 and includes two adult tickets and three kids 11 and under.
The Super Stocks are also scheduled. These guys put on one of the best shows on the West Coast. James Castleberry, Phillip Shelby and Cortney Dozier lead the charge of these winged stock car warriors.
Shannon Collins leads upstart Cameron Hammett by just two points in the Hobby Stock division. A talented group of drivers are expected.
Street stock drivers are geared for another chance at the raceway. This division doesn’t run for championship points so it gives drivers the chance to come and just race without the pressure of a point battle.
The exciting Dwarf Cars will make their fourth start of the season at Marysville this Saturday night. Generally, the dwarf cars bring almost 20 competitors. This is a tight knit group of racers that put on an entertaining night of racing.
