Sport Modified Bonus and New Payout Information

Chico, CA (March 28, 2018) …. The IMCA Sport Modified division continues to gain in popularity with racers and fans at both Silver Dollar Speedway and Marysville Raceway. This season both tracks are excited to offer incentives for a competitor to compete during six double header Sport Mod events.
The first double header race weekend will take place at Chico on May 4th and 5th. The race will pay a 20 percent bonus on the second night to any driver who starts both nights. The remaining five double header weekends between Chico and Marysville will pay a 20 percent bonus on the second night to a driver who starts both nights. Any driver starting both events at the two tracks will be guaranteed a $200 minimum combined pay out.
The new payout for 20 or more sport mods will be $350 to win, $250 for second, $175 for third, $125 for fourth and $100 for fifth. Sixth on back will pay $75. If the race attracts 19 or less Sport Mods the winner will be paid $250 to win and the standard purse applies.
The Silver Dollar Speedway will host the first IMCA Sport Mod point show this Friday night. Joining the sport mods are the winged 360 sprint cars, street stocks and hobby stocks.
