The Chase for The Championship Continues This Saturday
Marysville, CA – (4-5-22) …The chase for the championship at Marysville Raceway continues this Saturday night, April 9th, with an exciting three division show featuring the winged 360 sprint cars, hobby stocks and IMCA Sport Mods. Point race number five is geared up to set the tone going forward in the championship and separate the contenders from the pretenders.
Pit gate for the competitors opens at 3 PM. Front grandstand gate opens at 5 PM. Racing scheduled to start at 6 PM. Adult general admission is $15.00. Seniors and Juniors are $13.00. Kids, ages 6 – 11, are $6.00. Children 5 and under are FREE. As always, parking is FREE for the fans.

Billy Wallace sits atop the winged sprint car point standings. The defending champion holds a six-point edge over Billy Butler. Last week, Butler scored a popular win during the 25-lap feature event. Butler will try to ride that wave of momentum again this Saturday night.
Howard Law and Brian Cooper are tied for the Hobby Stock lead. Both Cooper and Law each have one win this season. David Cooper has endured nothing but bad luck to start the season and looks to rebound this weekend. David Cooper is third in point. Kyle Cheney sits in the fourth spot. Maurice Merrill rounds out the top five.
Jimmy Ford leads the IMCA Sport Mods into action this Saturday night. Ford looks to continue his winning ways this Saturday. Ford picked up his first win last Saturday night. Hunter Merritt and Scott Savell are right on Ford’s bumper in the point standings.
