Opening Night Race Moved to March 9th

Marysville, CA (February 13, 2019) …. This week’s storm left the entire Marysville Raceway and surrounding facility saturated. With more bad weather predicted this weekend, it was decided tonight to cancel Saturday’s Toller Memorial and move it to March 9th. “While we don’t like to lose races, there is nothing we could have done to get the racetrack in any sort of racing condition by this Saturday,” said promoter Dennis Gage. “At this point we already have a Civil War race scheduled for March 9th, and because of that, we will now add the Toller name to the billing.” The raceway also reached out to the Toller family for their approval.
The next scheduled event at Marysville Raceway is a practice day on February 23rd. All divisions are welcomed to participate. The practice is scheduled between 6pm and 10pm that night.
With this weekend’s rain out, the opening night is now pushed to March 9th. The Toller Memorial/Civil War Sprint Car Series will headline the show. Crate Sprints and the Pepsi IMCA Pepsi Sport Modifieds will co-headline the opening night race. A follow up release will update the start times and pricing for that event.
